I chose this hotel for attending a seminar because it provides a farmers' market dedicated to production, transformation, and services, which also serves as an exhibition space and business center. The facilities were well-maintained and the archaeological work being conducted added an interesting touch to the overall experience.
One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated workspace or business center where I could comfortably work on my laptop and hold meetings.

Spacious Rooms: The rooms at this hotel are like vast Alentejo plains, offering ample space to stretch out and relax. They are so roomy, you'll feel like you're staying in a grand castle rather than a hotel.
Hot Water: The only issue I encountered was that the hot water took a while to heat up.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with plenty of nearby parking options during certain times of the day. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting a great place to eat and ensuring the accommodations were clean.
The lack of information at check-in was frustrating, and the noise isolation was extremely poor - I could hear every cough from the neighboring rooms. The toilet flushing was faulty, forcing us to use a bucket, and the bathroom flooded when showering due to the lack of a curtain.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving suggestions on where to eat. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The shared kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and the breakfast offered a nice variety of continental options. Additionally, the view from some of the rooms was quite pleasant.
One negative aspect was the lack of hanging space in the bathroom, making it difficult to keep towels and clothing organized.

The room wasvery comfy and tidy, with fresh linen and towels provided. The decor had a cozy country home vibe, which added to the atmosphere. The staff, although limited in English, were polite and helpful. The breakfast offered a good variety and was reasonably priced. Despite some run-down areas in the hotel, cleanliness was maintained. The classic room at Beja Hostel was absolutely amazing! I loved the option of having either a double bed or twin beds. The separate bathroom was a huge plus. The room itself was so spacious, with a minimum of 43m^2. It felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I found one feature of the room less appealing. But hey, it's just my opinion.
